Townville man arrested — drug and gun charges

The stop of a motorcyclist Thursday morning at Townville resulted in Oconee Sheriff’s Office filing charges against the motorcycle operator.  According to the sheriff’s office, the case against Kyle Dwaine Glenn originated when an investigator spotted a speeding motorcycle on SC 24/the West-Oak Highway.  The sheriff’s office announced the following charges against 31-year old Glenn:  trafficking in methamphetamine; failure to stop for a blue light; unlawful carrying a pistol; and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.  “A search of Glenn’s person also produced approximately 17 grams of methamphetamine”, according to the arrest announcement.
