Time to change the batteries

The company servicing Oconee County voting machinery recommends replacing the batteries every four to five years.  And when the county council sits for its August meeting on Tuesday next week, the council will be asked to approve the payment of a near $57 thousand invoice to Print Elect of New Bern, North Carolina.  Only a certified technician from Election Systems and Software can replace the batteries in the equipment.
