The champs are recognized
The start of last night’s meeting of the Oconee School Board of Trustees was reserved for recognition of this year’s state champs, the Seneca High softball team. Coach Rick Pate recounted an extraordinary year for the Lady Bobcats. The Cats won 28 out of their 36 games. Their batters hit 43 home runs. Four of their five seniors intend to play softball in college.
