SEC Media Days

For the first time ever, SEC Football Media Days were in Dallas, Texas, this year. The conference is welcoming two new members, Oklahoma and Texas, to its conference for the 2024 football season.  South Carolina was one of the first teams to speak at the annual kickoff event. The Gamecocks are entering their fourth year under head coach Shane Beamer, who made progress with the program in 2022 — leading them to eight wins — but his team took a step back in 2023, going 5-7 and missing a bowl game.  Overall, Beamer said his entire team is looking forward to the upcoming season.
