Sarah Honea
Fair Play – Sarah Lee Glenn Honea, 69, wife of the late Joseph Wayne Honea, passed away on June 3rd, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born November 2nd, 1954, in Seneca, South Carolina, Sarah was the daughter of the late Harmon Lee and Zonell Crenshaw Glenn. Sarah was a phlebotomist and was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. Sarah was a faithful servant of the Lord, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, “Bitty”, and listening to Bob Segar music.
Sarah is survived by her son, Jody Honea (Sabrina) of Fair Play, South Carolina; daughter, Lacey Williams (Dalton Cole) of Anderson, South Carolina; sisters, Evelyn Gibson (Don) Greenville, South Carolina, Brenda Frady of Seneca, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Candace Carter, Jessica Honea, Seth Honea, Zara Williams, Blaire Williams, Emerson Cole; four great grandchildren, Dean Carter, Colin Carter, Marshal Carter and Aleigh Carter.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Frances Farmer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, June 7th, 2024 at Beaverdam Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the Beaverdam Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
