Richard “Rick” Goss

Walhalla- Richard “Rick” Mills Goss, 83, passed away on Saturday, August 3^rd, 2024 at his residence.

 

Born November 21^st, 1940, in Rockwood, Tennessee, Rick was the son of the late William and Alama Hope Goss. Rick was an automotive mechanic, he had a great passion later in his life for restoring hot rods, and was a collector of guns.

 

Rick is survived by his son, Jeffery “Jeff” M. Goss and wife Kimberlee of Walhalla; a daughter Michele Leigh Goss of Lakewood, Colorado; siblings, Brenda Cornn and husband Gary of Florida, Steve Goss and wife BJ of Florida, and Bill Goss of Florida; four grandchildren, Ashlee Thomas (Drew), Matthew Goss (Jennifer), Nicolas Dikeman, and Braden Mittenburger  (Ileena); four great grandchildren, Blake Thomas, Hunter Russo, Bria Mittenburger, and Brynlee Mittenburger; numerous other beloved family members whom he loved dearly.  

 

Rick is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Jason Russo.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, August 24^th, 2024, Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel.

 

The family is at their respective homes.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rick’s memory may be made to Interim Health Care Hospice, 16 Hyland Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
