Remember the businesses not allowed to re-open

A plea today from JoAnn Johnson, executive director of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce.  Johnson notes that with the opening of some restaurants that offer outside dining, along with the re-opening of other product retailers, things seem to be starting to more forward.  She requests, however, that Oconeeans keep in mind the many businesses that remain prohibited from making a living.  Says Johnson:  “If I might, can I please encourage you to continue to support those folks and their businesses?  As you know there are a myriad of ways in which we can do this.  For instance, we can call our hairstylers or massage therapists, get on their books now in anticipation of their opening.  We can buy gift cards or purchase their products or lotions, etc. while we wait.”
