Rachel Ann Gilliam Barker
Seneca- Rachel Ann Gilliam Barker, 73, of 261 Barker Lane, wife of Billy Barker, passed away July 15th, 2020.
Born in Oconee, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alma Gilstrap Gilliam. Rachel was an avid gardener, who had a love for raising and collecting chickens, and was of the Baptist faith.
Rachel is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Billy Barker; sons, Lamar Barker (Mandy) of Westminster, Scott Barker (Stacey) of Westminster; daughter, Jean Perrin (Darrell Banks) of Townville; brothers, Stevie Gilliam, of Seneca; sisters, Judy Bryson of Fair Play, Carol Morris of Seneca, Louise Norris and Mae Norris both of Westminster; twelve grandchildren, Jenny Jones, Katie Melton, Holly Swink, Bryan Barker, Daniel Barker, Hana Barker, Blake Crocker, Austin Crocker, De’Anna Schley, Corey Barker, Christopher Barker, and Stephanie Nalley; five great grandchildren, Grady Nalley, Harvey Nalley, Rylan Barker, Lila Stewart and Jack Jones.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Gilliam, Louie Gilliam, Junior Gilliam, Darby Gilliam, Connie Gilliam and L.B. Gilliam and Reed Gilliam.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, July 18th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, July 17th, 2020, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
