Peaceful protest announced for Seneca

Members of the Seneca High School class of 2018 are planning a peaceful protest and community dialogue for 6 o’clock Monday evening at the Blue Ridge Community Center on Holland Avenue.  According to the announcement, this protest and dialogue will center on the Black Lives Matter movement and improving race relations in Oconee County.  Besides members of the 2018 class and some of their friends, speakers and panelists will include Sheriff Crenshaw and leaders from the faith and education communities.  Social distancing and face masks will be required.  Doors will open at 5:45; seating will be limited.
