Paula Hix

Pendleton- Paula Garner Hix,72, passed away Wednesday, August 7^th, 2024 at her residence.

 

Born on July 23th, 1952, in Lyman, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Carolyn Hembree Garner. Paula had worked for the Oconee County Sheriff’s Department as a chief dispatcher and a member of Westminster Baptist Church.

 

Paula is survived by children, Todd Stephens of Greenville, South Carolina, Allison Graham (Gerald) of Pendleton, South Carolina, Tracy Stephens Koehler of Missouri, Steven Nobel of Easley, South Carolina, and Michelle Nivens (Billy) of Mauldin, South Carolina; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

 

Paula is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Lanning Garner.

 

A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 12^th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
