NICKI BLACKWELL
Westminster- Nicki Lea Kruger Blackwell, 75, wife of A. Wade Blackwell, passed away on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 26th, 1948, in Highland Park, Michigan, Nicki was the daughter of the late Robert Paul and Dorothy Ellsworth Kruger. Nicki was an editorial secretary for many years, but what she loved the most was her work with special needs children and adults. Nicki and her husband Wade were known for their faithful devotion to the Lord and she was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Nicki is survived by her husband; her stepchildren, Peter Wayne Blackwell, Kathie Kirchenberg, and Linda McDaniel; brothers, Robert Paul Kruger Jr. (Linda), John Laurence Kruger (Linda); six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. – Ephesians 2:8-9
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 29th, 2024 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Monday, July 29th, 2024 prior to the service at Holly Springs Baptist Church.
