New guidelines cover pastoral visits to the Oconee lockup

New guidelines are in place covering pastoral visits to the Oconee County Detention Center in Walhalla.  Among these new guidelines which the Sheriff’s Office says are to be strictly enforced:  all visits must be made thru the Securus Video Visitation System; inmates must agree to the visit; ministers will be allowed 1, thirty-minute visit per inmate each week; and an inmate’s family or friends are not allowed to accompany a pastoral visit.
