Nearly 50 send applications

In the final moments leading to the cut-off to apply to be Oconee County administrator, nearly 50 applications had been received, and they are from everywhere in the country. Which means there are applicants from Oconee, from South Carolina, as well as various parts of the U-S. They are both men and women seeking to succeed Scott Moulder, as the county’s chief administrator of policies as decided by the policy-making board, the Oconee County Council. By the 9 o’clock hour, 47 people had applied, according to the county Human Resources Office. The cut-off for applications is 10:30 this morning. The council has decided it will take on the task of processing the applications and, eventually, making a choice. And they plan to do that confidentially.
