Marjorie Harris

 

Hartwell- Marjorie Juanita Holmes Harris, 88, wife of the late Roy Lee Harris, passed away May 25^th, 2024 at Hartwell Health and Rehab. 

 

Born September 6^th, 1935, in Monroe, Tennessee, Juanita was the daughter of the late Troy and Lula Shoemaker Holmes. She was a homemaker and had a passion for her family and caring for others. Juanita also enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

 

Juanita is survived by her daughters, Tracie Massey (Keith) of Hartwell, GA, Theresa Martin (Tony) of Trenton, GA; grandchildren, Tim Tripp (Vanessa) of Chattanooga, TN, Nathanael Massey (Katie) of Hazelton, KS, Jeremiah Massey (Christina) of Augusta, GA, Zechariah Massey (Amanda) of Hartwell, GA; and 8 great-grandchildren.  

 

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm prior to the service.
