Lillie Mae Wilson

Westminster- Lillie Mae Davis Bryant Wilson, 92, widow of the late Marvin R. Wilson and the late James C. Bryant, passed away October 22, 2019, at Prisma Health – Cottingham Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.

 

A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Winnie Cobb Davis.  Mrs. Wilson was a 1944 graduate of Westminster High School, a member of the Beta Club, and retired after 38 years of service from JP Stevens.   She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and served as the church pianist for over 50 years, Lillie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she had a great love for her Lord, family, and her church.

 

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughters, Janice Bryant Cobb and husband Ray of Westminster, Mary Bryant Davis and husband Glenn of Tamassee; two grandchildren, Meredith Lyons Williams and husband Lee of Westminster and Steven Kyle Davis and wife Jessica of Walhalla; and seven great-grandchildren, Hannah Williams, Abby Williams, Mattie Davis, Savannah Davis, Cameron Davis, Lillie Davis, and Kyle Davis.

 

In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise McAlister (Jim), Cora Owens (Charlie), and Mary Freeman (JC).

 

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at First Baptist Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 1:00-2:30 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
