LEONARD BURDETTE, JR.
Westminster – Leonard Branson Burdette, Jr., 87, husband of the late Martha Sue Finley Burdette, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
Born September 16th, 1936, in Oconee County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Leonard Branson and Estelle Price Burdette. Leonard was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Amoco. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music.
Leonard is survived by his children, Phil Burdette of Westminster, Debbie Marcus and husband Rev. Greg Marcus of Westminster; brothers, David Burdette, Manuel Burdette; sisters, Judy Galbreath, Brenda Burdette; and two grandchildren, Adam Lee Marcus and Alexus Ditullio.
In addition to his parents and wife, Leonard was preceded in death by his brother, Landy Burdette.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
