Legal matters to be left for another day

City of Seneca elected leaders removed from their agenda a pair of legal matters that they intended to address in a closed-door meeting last night, at the end of their regular October meeting. City administrator Scott Moulder announced that Bo Bowman, the city attorney, was tied up yesterday in depositions and would not be present to advise the mayor and council on two legal matters—one of which is the status of a lawsuit by a couple who claim they have been aggrieved by a city board’s decision on their short-term rental wish. But the council went into executive session to consider the purchase of a property.
