LARRY WHEELER
Fair Play – Larry Wayne Wheeler, 73, husband of the late Deborah Jeanette Wheeler, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Born in Seneca, South Carolina, Larry was the son of the late Edgar Wheeler and Hortence Certain Wheeler. Larry retired from Duke Energy after 41 years of service. Larry was known and will be fondly remembered as the patriarch of the family. Larry had a passion for old cars, and guns and he enjoyed and loved time spent with his grandson, Logan, watching Tom and Jerry cartoons.
Larry is survived by his children, Sherry Wheeler, Meghan Capps (Daniel), and Brandon Rodney Wheeler; brother, Dennis Wheeler; and grandchildren, Logan Capps, Mia Belle Wheeler, and Ross Sinclair.
In addition to his wife and parents, Larry is preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Allice Harvey, Leon Wheeler, Beverly Ann Gibson, and Lena Ruth Robinson.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, April 17, 2023, at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends and family from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to the service.
