JUDITH MORTON

Seneca – Judith Ann Cobb Morton, 72, wife of Henry Melvin Morton Sr., passed away Wednesday, June 7^th, 2023 at Prisma Greenville Memorial Hospital.

 

Born in Seneca, South Carolina, Judith was the daughter of the late James Wade Cobb and Nell Jean Long Cobb.  Judith was a member of Light House Mission Church. 

 

Judith is survived by her husband, Henry Melvin Morton Sr; son, David Blackwell; daughters, Robin Blackwell, Shelley Blackwell, Carolyn Bacon; brothers, James Cobb; sisters, Carolyn Blackey, Sandra Patterson, and Elaine Duncan; four grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Cobb.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, June 11^th, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.   The family will receive friends and family from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm, Sunday, June 11^th, 2023, prior to the service, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
