JOSÉ LUIS VALDEZ TALONIA

Mexico– José Luis Valdez Talonia, 74, spouse of Florida Sánchez, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.    Born on September 2, 1949, in Mexico, he was the son of Filimon Valdez Paz and Francisca Talonia.  José was a self-employed machinist of the Catholic faith.    José is survived by his spouse, Florida Sánchez; sons, José Carlos Valdez and José Luis Valdez; two brothers; two sisters; and six grandchildren.   José is preceded in death by a son, Fernando Valdez; a brother and three sisters.   A funeral Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 1821 White Street, Anderson, South Carolina, 29624.  The family is in their respective homes.
