Jerry Cobb
WESTMINSTER – Jerry Lamar Cobb, 80, husband of Diane Lynch Cobb, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his residence.
Born November 12th, 1944, in Oconee County, South Carolina, Jerry was the son of the late Sadie Cobb. At the young age of 9, Jerry became a resident of the Tamassee DAR school where he lived until graduating high school. During his time at the DAR school, he had the pleasure to experiences many adventures that he often shared with his family. Jerry was a United States Army Veteran having served during Vietnam, a machinist, and an avid gun collector.
Jerry is survived his wife, Diane Lynch Cobb; sons, Mark Grant of Savannah, Georgia, and Andy Cobb of Anderson, South Carolina; daughter, Diana Lynn Manganelli of Greer, South Carolina; a granddaughter, Anna Smith; and one great grandchild, Zane Smith.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, and a grandchild, Chad Pitts.
