James Chapman

Salem- James Edward Chapman, 66, passed away Friday, June 25^th, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Broadus E. Chapman and Ruth Jean Campbell Chapman of Salem. James retired from Duke Power after twenty-eight years of service as an engineer and later retired from Trans Nuclear as an engineer and was a Hejaz Shriner.

 

In addition to his mother, James is survived by his son, Jeremy Chapman and wife Tiffany of Salem; daughter, Kristen Simpson and husband Robert of Anderson; sister Debbie McGraw of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Austin Chapman, Haileigh Chapman, Raeyanna Chapman, and Morgan Simpson

 

A Private Graveside Service will be held Monday, June 28^th, 2021, at West View Cemetery. The family will receive friends, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, Monday, June 28^th, 2021 prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
