In Westminster’s case, making a wrong a right

A calculation error apparently deprived the city of Westminster of money held by the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority. Westminster is one of three municipalities whose wastewater is treated by the JRSA’s plant at Seneca. At a meeting next week, a JRSA committee will consider recommending a refund to Westminster in the amount of $70,592.83 for un-metered wastewater flows dating back to January 2017. The JRSA’s finance and administration committee meets Monday next week at the Westminster City Hall.
