Gunfire erupts at Walhalla apartment

A 31-year old man was classified in critical condition last night in a Greenville hospital after having been shot earlier in the day at his brother’s Walhalla apartment. Police Chief Sean Brinson said Angel Rodriguez was wounded in the apartment of his brother, Ezequiel, at Country Ridge Apartments on Stoudemire Street. By last night, no charges had been made in the investigation, and Brinson said his officers aren’t sure why Angel Rodriguez was shot. Brinson says the police seized a .22 pistol, as well as other evidence, at the scene. The first sign of trouble was a call to the police shortly before 10:30 yesterday morning to investigate a disturbance at the Rodriguez apartment.
