GOP rally at South Cove County Park

Lindsey Graham arrived today at South Cove Park near Seneca wearing a mask and a Trump International Golf Course cap.  The feeling was relaxed at the open-air park pavilion as Oconee Republicans rallied ahead of the November General Election.  Senator Graham and U-S Rep. Jeff Duncan were the scheduled featured speakers to the party faithful.  In an exclusive interview with 101.7/WGOG NEWS, Graham talked about his campaign for re-election, his party’s hopes this fall, as well as his support for law enforcement as it is tasked with keeping order amid the protests over the deaths of African-Americans at the hands of police officers.  The interview started with Graham making clear that President Trump’s North Carolina comments suggesting that people try to vote twice in the election to ensure one of their votes counted.  Graham called what the president said at the Wilmington, North Carolina airport a joke and made clear that voting twice would be illegal and he disavows anyone trying that. Other Graham interview remarks can be heard on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
