Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart has received a two-year contract extension that takes his current deal through December 2033. His annual salary has gone up $1.75 million, which leaves him with an annual salary of $13 million per year with bonuses up to $1.55 million. Smart passes Clemson’s Dabo Swinney ($11 million) for the sport’s highest-paid coach.  Under Smart’s direction, Georgia has become a powerhouse program, winning two national titles and two SEC championships, compiling a record of 94-16 over the last eight seasons.
