Shane Beamer has settled South Carolina’s quarterback competition. For now. During a media gathering prior to the Gamecock Club’s ‘Welcome Home’ Tour stop in Florence on Monday night, the Gamecocks head football coach announced redshirt freshman quarterback LaNorris Sellers has earned the starting job.  South Carolina will report for fall camp on Thursday, Aug. 1, with their first practice slated to be on Friday, Aug. 2.G
