Duke Energy’s World of Energy to host a unique quilt show

Duke Energy’s World of Energy education center will host “Electrified Needles: A Collection,” a unique quilt show, in its lobby from Aug. 31-Oct. 6.

The show will include beautiful fiber art of all shapes, sizes, and colors created by members of the local Free Spirit Fiber Artists organization. The show is free and open to the public during the World of Energy’s business hours, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday through Friday.

An opening reception will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 8.
