2024 TRUMP BOAT PARADE ON LAKE KEOWEE

Place: South Cove to the “Falls”

Pouring Rain Date: August 25th at 1:30 PM (If he can take a bullet, we can handle a light rain)

The lead boat will be identified by large red, white, and blue balloons attached to the bimini of a champagne-colored Bennington pontoon boat. The National Anthem will be played, followed by three horns to indicate the Parade will begin! Once you have gotten in line, please honk your horn three times to let others know the parade has started!

Please proceed at a slow and steady pace behind the lead boat so we look like a parade. We have room to spread apart (most of the way). The speed will be 10 to 15 MPH. Boaters may join at any time along the route or stop and take a break.

Most important is that we stay safe on the lake. Please maintain a safe distance between boats, docks, and any swimmers, and have adequate safety equipment and idle speed under the bridge. Be PREPARED not IMPAIRED. DNR will be out on the lake! If you are not familiar with Lake Keowee rules, go to SCDNR.gov, where you can find the boating tab.

If you live on the lake or want to see the parade, you can show your support by decorating and cheering along the Parade Route, at South Cove, and at the bridge over the parade route on Rochester Highway/Rt 183 near the nuclear plant.

The 2020 Lake Keowee Trump Boat Parade had an estimated 800 boats. Let’s see if we can beat that number!
