Elsie Curry

 

Seneca – Elsie Marie Wathen Curry, 75, wife of the late Joseph Leonard Curry, passed away on Friday, August 9^th, 2024 at her residence.

 

Born September 12^th, 1948, in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, Elsie was the daughter of the late James Wathen and Mary Helen Wathen.  Elsie was a retired nurse having worked at St. Mary’s Hospital, had a great passion for crocheting and took great pleasure spending the last year with her grandchildren.

 

Elsie is survived by her daughters, Joanne Curry of Seneca, South Carolina and Abbey Lynn Curry of Maryland; six grandchildren, Richard Bond, Jacob Bond, Christopher Bond, Leeland Bond, Hannah Zeone, and Ayden McCormick; two great granddaughters, Layklyn Nevel and Zendaya Alexander, ten siblings.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Leonardtown, Maryland
