Elaine Hudgins
Westminster – Elaine Oliver Hudgins, 69, passed away Monday, April 24th, 2023 at Regency Hospital of Greenville.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Elaine was the daughter of the late Newton Harbin Oliver and Lucy Allene Hood Oliver. Elaine was a graduate of Seneca High School Class of 1972, and formerly worked at Jacob Chucks, True Temper Sports and retired from Borg Warner. Elaine had a great passion for quilting and spending time with her grandchildren and was of the Baptist Faith.
Elaine is survived by her son, Neal Hudgins of Westminster; brother Jan Oliver and wife Cindy of Seneca; sisters Debra Black and husband Jim of Seneca, Jeanie Orr and husband Lewis of Westminster and Pamela Broome and husband Dan of Fair Play; three grandchildren, Patrick Hudgins, Nile Hudgins, Jonah Jackson; and three great grandchildren, Oliver Hudgins, Kassidy Hudgins, and Owen Jackson. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and there were many others that called her “Granny”
In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her great grandson, Liam Hudgins.
The graveside service will be held 3:30 pm, Thursday, April 27th, 2023 at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Thursday, April 27th, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the service.
