Douglas Harold Elrod

Mountain Rest, SC — Douglas Harold Elrod, 80, of 625 Winding River Rd., Mountain Rest, SC, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, at Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House.

A native of Mountain Rest, SC, Mr. Elrod was the son of the late H.B. and Lassie Bell Smith Elrod. He retired from Sangamo and attended Cross Roads Baptist Church #2.

Mr. Elrod is survived by his daughter: Teresa Porter; brother: Bruce Elrod; and sisters: Dot Beebe, Kay James, Ovice Hatcher, and Freda Rogers.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Elrod was preceded in death by his brothers: Clyde and Davis Elrod; and sisters: Lucille Whitworth and Francis Mauldin.

No services have been scheduled at this time.

The family is at their respective homes.
