Did you hear what the governor said?

The new president of the South Carolina Senate, Thomas Alexander of Oconee-Pickens, likes what Governor McMaster said in the governor’s state of the state.  Said Alexander: “Governor McMaster did a great job tonight outlining a bright future for our state by making us more competitive in a number of areas including education funding, income tax, infrastructure, and workforce development.  I look forward to working with the Governor to make this happen.  Let’s get to work today so our citizens can have a better tomorrow.”  Alexander and his Oconee County House colleagues hold their annual Oconee County public meeting at 6:30 tonight at the Seneca City Hall.  The public is invited for a discussion of what’s ahead for the state in a new legislative year.
