Dianne Smith-Allen
Walhalla – Carol Dianne Smith-Allen, 62, wife of James Leon Allen, passed away on May 22nd, 2024 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born July 2nd, 1961 in Seneca, South Carolina, Dianne was the daughter of the late Claud and Janet Adams Pitts. Dianne was formerly the office manager for Dr. Ernest Martin, but her true calling and passion was caring for her children. Dianne was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and loved the mountains and the beach.
Dianne is survived by her husband, James Leon Allen; son, Clint James Burton (Allee) of Walhalla; daughters, Anna Michele Foster of Walhalla, Angela Noel Allen Chason (Michael) of Augusta, Georgia; sister, Rebecca P. Barner of Walhalla; and five grandchildren, Cole Foster, Trent Foster, Zeke Foster, Amelia Burton, and Cooper Burton.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and family Sunday, May 26th, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Sandifer Funeral Home.
