Delwin “Doc” Cobb

Westminster- Delwin “Doc” Earl Cobb, 73, husband of Grace S. Cobb passed away April 7, 2020 at Prisma Cottingham Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

 

Born in Oconee, SC, he was the son of the late William Reece and Lula Blanche Long Cobb. Doc was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Dunlap where he worked 32 in the maintenance department. Doc was a member of the Westminster American Legion, a member of Chauga Baptist Church and had a great love for his family and working outdoors.

 

In addition to his wife Grace Catherine Suttles Cobb of 50 years, Doc is survived by his sons, Delwin Cobb II (Jennifer) of Westminster, Joel Cobb of Seneca; daughter, Audrey Cobb Morton (Jim) of Westminster; brothers, Dennis Cobb (Louise), Sherill Cobb, Randy Cobb, Rodney Cobb ( Mashelia) all of Westminster; sister, Helen Cobb Burton (Benny) of Westminster; and four grandchildren, Kodi Cobb (Shana), Laken Cobb, Denver Morton (Cara) and Kadalynn Morton (Clay Jones); four great grandchildren, Bentley, Jaxon, Lincoln, and Kane.

 

A Graveside Service will be held 11 am, Saturday, April 11th, at Oconee Memorial Park.

In lieu of a formal visitation, you may drop by Sandifer Funeral Home on Friday, April 10th, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm to pay your respects and sign the register book.

 

A special thank you to the Cottingham Hospice House staff for their care and compassion for helping take such good care of Doc.
