RJ Godfrey, who played a pivotal role for the Clemson Tigers in their run to the Elite 8 earlier this season, has announced his transfer destination.  The sophomore forward will continue his college career in the SEC with the Georgia Bulldogs, he announced on social media Wednesday.  The Georgia native’s dad, Randall, was a star linebacker for the Bulldogs from 1992-1995 becoming the first true freshman in program history to lead the team in tackles en route to being named SEC Freshman of the Year before an 11-year NFL career.  Godfrey appeared poised to take on a significant role as an upperclassman for the Tigers, after averaging 6.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in just 15.6 minutes per game this season.  He was at his best in the NCAA Tournament, averaging 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds on 60% shooting during the Tigers March Madness run.
