Clemson Coaches New Contracts

Head Coaches Brad Brownell, Mike Noonan, Eddie Radwanski, Erik Bakich and Kelley Hester agreed to new contracts with Clemson University in a move that was approved by the Board of Trustees Compensation Committee. Brownell, Noonan, Radwanski and Hester each led their programs to Elite Eights or better, the first time four Clemson sports advanced that far in the NCAA Tournament since 1979-80.  Brownell’s extension makes him a Tiger through 2029 while Bakich and Noonan signed contract extensions through 2030. Brownell’s new five-year, $20 million contract will earn him $3.5 million next season, which is $500,000 more than his last deal. His pay will increase by $250,000 per year to earn him $4.5 million in the final year of his contract for the 2028-29 season.  Bakich’s two-year extension brings him to a six-year total contract that will earn him $8.4 million. His pay will increase from his previously scheduled $950,000 for next season to $1.275 million. Bakich will receive raises of $50,000 each season going forward after that.
