Vincent Trocheck scored a power-play goal off a rebound at 7:24 of the second extra period and the Rangers beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 on Tuesday night to take a 2-0 lead in their second-round playoff series.

Hootie Ingram, who served as Clemson’s head football coach from 1970-72, passed away Monday morning, He was 90 years old.  Ingram recorded a 12-21  Ingram’s tenure coincides with two iconic Clemson traditions, the now-omnipresent Tiger Paw logo and Clemson’s Running Down the Hill tradition.

Clemson University is seeking damages from the Atlantic Coast Conference. In a newly unsealed court filing, the university alleged that the league has negatively impacted the school through “misstatements” and “slander.”  The filing was done in Pickens County Court, all in part of an effort to avoid penalties for leaving the ACC.
