Royster leaving Gamecocks

South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said after Sunday’s practice redshirt freshman safety Sheldon Royster has left the program. Spurrier would not say why Royster is transferring.  Royster was a heavily recruited prospect from New Jersey who redshirted last season.
