This photo catches the aftermath of an accident late yesterday afternoon at Fair Play, on E. Fair Play Boulevard in the vicinity of I-85.  Public safety responders found the driver outside his vehicle that rolled.  The driver was sent to the hospital.

The West-Oak High School wrestling team captured the Upper State championship Wednesday with a 35-30 win over South Pointe from Rock Hill. The Warriors now head to the Class 3A state title matches this Saturday at Dreher High School where they face second-ranked Beaufort High School.

Jolene Jordan Hoover has announced her resignation as the head coach of the Clemson volleyball program. Hoover led the Tigers to a 452-259 record in 22 seasons. Not only is she the all-time winningest coach in Clemson volleyball history, she is also the all-time winningest coach among head coaches of all women’s sports programs in Clemson history.

In area high school basketball Tuesday, Seneca’s boys were 82-55 winners over Pickens with Tristen Hudson leading the way with 21 points, including four three-pointers.
