Latest numbers show infections (and deaths) rise

In the latest 24-hour counting period, Oconee County saw more than 100 new COVID-19 infections.  In Sunday’s DHEC report, there were 107 new Oconee cases and 3,450 new cases statewide.  New South Carolina deaths:  60 (including that of an elderly Oconeean who died Friday).  Of 13,560 test results statewide, the percentage of positivity hit 25.4%.
