The US Veterans Administration has given its stamp of approval to 10 certificate-based training courses through Tri-County Technical College’s Corporate and Community Education Division. The Oconee Chapter of the NAACP presented its 27th annual ‘Women of the Year’ awards this weekend. According to Beverly Jenkins, the second runner-up was Brenda Carson of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
