Shooting near Westminster

A man wounded by gunfire late yesterday afternoon near Westminster was sent to the hospital for treatment. A spokesman for the Oconee Sheriff’s Department described the shooting as a leg wound. Sheriff’s officers are investigating the incident believed to have arisen over a dispute involving a third person.

Senecans arrested in manhunt

    Two Seneca residents have been arrested in a manhunt in Georgia, led by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.
