Fire fighters were sent to a Sandifer Boulevard, Seneca address late last night where they found barrels on fire at the Triple-H recycling center. That fire was extinguished quickly and did not require the presence of the county’s HAZMAT squad, according to Oconee County Dispatch.

Walhalla fire fighters, in their cross-training capacity as medical responders, are among those in Mountain Rest this afternoon assisting a man who is said to be the unintentional victim of a gun shot wound in the vicinity of SC 28 and Yellow Branch Falls.
