“Back to School Splash” tomorrow

Oconee school children are back in the classroom, but there’s still time for a fun summer event. A “Back to School Splash” takes place tomorrow at the Walhalla Municipal Swimming Pool. The Foothills YMCA and Lifepoint Church are partnering to have the pool open at 12:30 and to serve hot dogs. Free games and activities begin at 4 o’clock.

With help from Pickens County, Oconee sheriff’s officers have arrested a man wanted on charges arising from crimes 10 years ago. Law enforcement reports show Rodney Edrew Hendricks arrested and charged with burglary and theft May 2, 2004 at a home near Seneca.
