Fire heavily damaged what appeared to be an unoccupied house late this near the Seneca area intersection of Wells Highway and Shiloh Road. Charlie King, Oconee fire chief, said the fire occurred in a house on the Patterson Road. No one was hurt, but the cause of the fire remained undetermined by early afternoon.
