Troopers report SC 28 at Pineland Street in front of Tanglewood subdivision blocked this hour because of an accident.  And they say there are injuries.  Word to 101/7/WGOG NEWS from the scene the accident involved  an SUV and a pickup truck.  One vehicle may have been pulling a trailer.

Walhalla to talk annexation next week!

Walhalla City Council has scheduled the first of two required readings to expand the city limits.  The property involved, according to City Administrator Nancy Goehle, is that which the Bojangles chain is considering to build one of its restaurants.  The property fronts highway 28 near Super Service.  City Council meets at 5:30 Tuesday evening at City Hall.

Deputy investigates complaint on Singing Pines Road
