Seneca teachers of the year

The Seneca Rotary Club announces the 2016 Teachers of the Year for the Seneca area schools. The following teachers were selected based on their work in the classroom and community. Lindsay James (Seneca Middle), Christina Alexander (Seneca High), Melissa Culler (Northside Elementary),  Jessica McGaha (Blue Ridge Elementary), and Donna Holliday (Ravenel Elementary).

An autopsy takes place today to assist in the investigation of the death of Steven Moore, 52-year old Walhalla resident found dead yesterday morning at his Highlands Highway home.  According to Coroner Karl Addis, it’s presumed Moore died on Friday.  He was discovered yesterday by a neighbor who made a welfare check. Oconee authorities say Steven Moore has been found dead in his home near Walhalla.
