The members of the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority are being called together for a rare mid-day meeting.  When quieried for the specific reason, Chairman Scott Parris said,  “The only information I can provide is that the Authority is having an executive session meeting to discuss a personnel matter.”  The meeting is set for noon tomorrow.

State troopers reported a pair of car-deer accidents this morning in Oconee and Pickens counties.  Shortly after 5:30, one accident occurred on highway 11 in Oconee.  About 30 minutes earlier, another car-deer accident occurred in Pickens County on the Farrs Bridge Road near 183.
