5-cent hike in school food prices

District administrators have asked Oconee school trustees to approve a five-cent increase in the cost of student meals.  As proposed by Steve Hanvey, assistant superintendent, the increase for both breakfast and student meals for students would start with the new school year August 17.  Prices for adult school meals are set by another government agency.

State housing program helped Oconeeans avoid foreclosure
